Zorn Fitness has officially launched today!
Let us tell you what the Zorn brothers are all about. We are former college athletes who have had our own struggles with weight. To be honest, we both love to eat.
Sebastian: I grew up in the kitchen and couldn't resist sneaking extra helpings after dinner. As I shopped for "husky" pants as a kid, I couldn't help but notice that these pants were for the large, not for husky dog enthusiasts. As I began to play sports in high school, I realized that I could use my love for food and a knack for science to my advantage. I read everything I could on the subject and dialed in my nutrition in order to get into optimal playing shape. I kept studying nutrition science and eventually received my Masters in Science degree and passed the exam to become a registered dietitian. I've made it my passion to guide others along that same path that lead me to a healthy lifestyle.
Favorite food: Chicken Tikka Masala (w/ bell peppers, spice level 4)
Ben: My battle with weight came later in life. At San Jose State University, I played offensive line on the football team and eventually tipped the scale at over 300 pounds. After my sophomore year, I made a conscious decision to change positions and regain my health. I am not perfect by any means. Over the years I've both gained and lost weight-intentionally and unintentionally. These experiences help me understand the same struggles my clients have with their weight and fitness. I've committed myself to work on how I can help others find their own way to a healthy lifestyle. Anyone can write a fitness or nutrition plan. We want to go a step further and teach you the concepts behind the plan so that you can tailor it to use in your own life.
Favorite animal: Rottweiler (that's an easy one)
